Hana Kagoshima 3 @ Yoshino Park

I felt that nothing is brighter nor clearer than nature.

The park was filled with power of life. 

 

Found a interesting and rare flower

Not only various kinds of flowerbeds,

there are also exhibition garden section.

Each garden has own theme. 

They are exhibited by companies or groups.

Satsuma domain (Kagoshima) Garden

You can see Sakurjima on the background. 

"チェスト：Chesuto" 

is one of the Kagoshima dialect words. 

Means "go go!"

So Japanese Garden.

and my favorite garden. 

 Toyota Prius is covered with flowers 

Oooooh....lol :P

Here made me feel being in the world of 

Alice In Wonderland

You can be relax in foot bath for free.

Enjoy with the view of Japanese Samurai Garden.

Inside the building, 

they give green tea service. 

You can also get some original sweets.

Get a ticket in front of the main gate.

Admission on the day 800 yen for an adult

People under 18, over 70 and challenged are free.

The day ticket: 800yen for an adult.

Free pass ticket: 1,200yen for an adult.

Over 300,000 people have been visited so far.

There are good  badge service 

as a countermeasure against loosing kids.

BTW the name of the character is

 "Guribu" named after Green Buta (Pig)

 -On the other side-

a child name, parent's name, mobile phone number

and badge No. 

Parent keeps the bottom part.

Pictograms  helps understand where and what facilities are 

without foreign languages.

 There is sign language interpreter.

Baggies and wheel chairs are available 

with simple proceedings .

There is a donation box

for victims of the Japan's recent earthquake.

This is the first appearance of Velotaxis in Kagoshima :)

Hana Kagoshima 1 @ Yoshino Park

Hana Kagoshima 2011 has been held at  Yoshino Park!!!!

It is the 28th National Festival for Tree-planting in Kagoshima :) 

For the preparation,

 the park had been closed for 3 months (from Jan to Mar) ! 

During the period, 

 the adjacent parking spots are unavailable.

There is a free shuttle bus service to and from the site.

We use it from Tenmonkan, the center of Kagoshima City.

There is not enough information for the bus stop on the website...

If you want to take this,

please go to the Toyoko Inn Kagoshima Tenmonkan 2.

The shuttle bus stops in front of the hotel. 

It runs about every 20 minutes between 10：30AM to 17：30.

there are four stands by destination.

Please get on the same place 

where you get off.
