Gion-no-su Park

5 stone bridges used to across the Kotsuki River, 

(running through Kagoshima city) 

The  bridges were built in Edo Period.

Today, three of them were rebuilt and relocated. 

They are one of the historical products.

Now, you must know which should to go to the park :)

walk along a road...

then you will see the railroad crossing on your left hand.

"Sadness" "Suffering" and "Agonizing"

 On the top of these three statues,

it stands representing "Peaceful" ...

Nearby is a Museum

It introduces its history and

 the formation techniques used in its construction.

This is called "Sanshin".

"San" means three in Japanese, showing three-string. 

 it is the traditional strings of Ryukyu (present Okinawa), and Amami.

The body part is made of skin of snakes.

Hirakawa Zoological Park,

The most famous zoo in Kagoshima :)

It has been undergoing renovations until 2015.

Big project!

"As friendly both people and animals" 

Foot bath is  available at two places.

140 species, more than 1,000 animals are living together.
